Augustin Edward Birch
The Tuskegee airmen were made up of African American pilots who fought in world war II. They were apart of the United states Air force branch. Augustin Edward Berch was apart of the airmen core. This was during the Jim Crow time when racial segregation was still going on. The feat to even become someone as highly noted as a Tuskegee Airmen during this time really speaks to the character of who Augustin Edward Berch was. The Airmen were also subject to much discrimination inside and outside of the Air force. It is the quality of sustaining that seperates these men; and leaves them in American history forever.
